There has been a lot of talk lately about Lamborghini adding a third model to its thin product portfolio, and at an event at the Frankfurt auto show, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that another product is forthcoming from the company—but not in the sense that the rumors concern. When Winkelmann took the stage in Germany to introduce the special-edition Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale, he proudly announced that Lamborghini would in fact be producing the Sesto Elemento.

Highlighted by a genuine hand assembled kit, aluminium and carbon fiber body, and combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative technology. The specs of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato consist of a 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 510 bhp (380 kW / 517 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb ft) of torque and with only 150 pieces in production it doesn’t get much more limited.

Hamann released details of a new version of their magnificent kit for Porsche Cayenne 2011 and named it Guardian for Geneva Motor Show. This is by far the coolest kit for Cayenne we’ve seen so far.

The kit on this car is very busy, but unlike most of Hamann’s busy kits it’s not overwhelming. With a new muscular bonnet, a chin spoiler with new fog lights, and new grilles, the car looks fabulous at front, much better than the standard car.

The car is wider too, thanks to the fender extensions linked together by new and taller side skirts. That lead us to the back where you see a new bumper with a unique diffuser and a pair of big exhausts right at the middle. Hamann Guardian also gets multispoke wheels in size 11.0Jx23 at the front axle and 12.0Jx23 at the rear finished in black.

If you like Aston Martins but have grown tired of the aging design that characterizes the Vantage, DB9 and Rapide model lines, Monterey, California, is the place to be this week. That’s where, amidst all the classics and concours, Aston is showing off its latest car, the V12 Zagato, marking the first time that the car has been shown in North America. The transatlantic voyage follows the concept car’s decorated unveiling at Villa d’Este, its competition debut at the Nürburgring and the announcement of its production, which will start next summer.

Another day in Monterey, another debut from Lotus. Yesterday evening, the British sports car maker unveiled the stunning Evora GTE Road Car Concept, and earlier today pulled the wraps off the Exige Matte Black Final Edition, a special model reserved exclusively for the North American market.

This isn’t the first time that Lotus has introduced a market-specific Exige with a sinister paint scheme. Back in 2009, the company released the Exige Stealth for Japanese buyers and Exige Scura for European customers. While those cars had track-ready features like launch control and variable-slip traction control, the U.S. version is mostly an appearance package with the addition of black Alcantara seats and a slightly upgraded motor on top of the matte finish. Lotus collectors might be interested in the exclusiveness of the car, though, with just 25 slated for production.

BMW has revealed the car that marks the automaker’s return to DTM racing. The BMW M3 DTM Concept provides a look at what race fans can expect on the DTM starting grid in 2012. Not every bit of matte-finish cool on display above will be carried over to the ready-to-race version, but as with the majority of its concept cars, BMW’s finished product will likely look very close to the car you see here.

The BMW M3 DTM Concept is powered by a 480-horsepower 4.0-liter V8 engine (that’s with the required air restrictor in place), mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. Sprinting to 62 miles per hour takes about three seconds, and the racer’s top speed is somewhere around 186 mph. It will be up to British driver Andy Priaulx and Brazilian teammate Augusto Farfus to keep the M3′s matte finish looking fresh as they battle for podium spots.

Bugatti has recently teamed up with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin) to design this one of a kind Veyron “L’Or Blac” model, the world’s first vehicle to use porcelain elements for exterior and interior design. The automative art piece was was unveiled at an exclusive premiere ceremony in Berlin on June 30 at the KPM workshops and only one unit of the model exists. Guaranteed to turn heads (if you can afford the asking price), the model is currently on the market for €1.65 million (an estimated $2.4 million USD). The first McLaren MP4-12C GT3 to be built by McLaren GT – a new company that brings together the expertise of the McLaren Group and CRS Racing – has successfully undertaken its debut tests at the MIRA proving ground facility and Silverstone Circuit in England. McLaren GT has also appointed a new test driver to its team, 26-year-old Portuguese racing driver Álvaro Parente.

The initial shakedown tests undertaken with the 12C GT3, whereby new components are calibrated and bespoke aerodynamic body structures are appraised for the first time, will be followed by comprehensive tests scheduled throughout March and April at a number of FIA* certified circuits across Europe. News on the development programme, full driver line-up and planned competition for the 12C GT3 will be confirmed after these tests are completed.

In 2007 Shelby Supercars (SSC) released the Aero, becoming at the time the fastest car to be allowed on streets, featuring a stunning 1250 horsepower and going over 250 mph. For 2012 Shelby presents their ‘Next-Generation’ supercar, beating their own records.

The new model features a 1350 horsepower engine, going up to 275 mph. The design is both modern, innovative and classic in its inspiration and approach.

Shelby Supercars 2012 ‘Next-Generation

The Slovenian automaker, Provoco, just revealed recently their new supercar, the Shayton Equilibrium.

Even though Provoco isn’t as famous as Lamborghini or Porshe, this good-looking luxurious car not only has a beautiful design, it also has equally impressive performance, only needing 3,1 seconds to reach 62 mph and having a top speed of approximately 249 mph (400 km/h).

A carbon-titanium monocoque chassis and a body made of carbon fiber compose the supercar, powered by a V12 engine.

The Shayton Equilibrium will be hitting the market in the near future, the Slovenian company aims to produce around 5 of these per year, and a few special editions.

This beauty’s price is set at a round 1 million Euros.
