One aspect of video game design is to prescribe as much realism as possible but still retain a sense of fantasy and escape. Hence, the inclusion of real people such as the recent involvement of Jay-Z and EMINEM to the upcoming Activison’s game title, DJ HERO. However, a few canny contributors/gamers mentioned that there was already an actual DJ in the game – DJ Shadow.

DJ Shadow, along with DJ Z-Trip, DJ AM and Cut Chemist, were asked to cut some original tunes for the game. In addition, DJ Shadow will appear in the game as a character too, who is distinguishable by his blue flaming eyes. But the most notable feature on DJ Shadow’s avatar is the old school black General Made hoodie by A Bathing Ape (BAPE). Talk about the ultimate platform for a product placement…

The concluding piece to the DJ Shadow and LRG three part collaboration is seen here. Originally unveiled over a series of DJ Shadow performances in the last few months, this windbreaker joins a previous New Era 59FIFTY and Down Jacket released in previous months. “The Collaboration Windbreaker” is marked by a series of intricate details similar to the previous products with both entities’ logos seen on the chest, DJ Shadow’s cover art printed within the hood and printed sleeve.
